Years of stories just like this, getting numb to it.
Sincere condolences and profound respect to his family for their devotion and this and future sacrifices.
God bless his family.
This was a great man who lost his life fighting for freedom for those who don't appreciate it. In this country and Afghanistan. My sincere prayers go to him and his family.
If the country's leaders would stick to the principles set forth by the founding fathers we'd see a lot less of stories like these.
Still, I appreciate his willingness to serve and may his family find peace.
We offer our condolences to your service and sacrifice. God bless the family!!!
A true American hero...
Live Free...
Die with more Freedom
God bless you and your family...
My sincere condolences to the family and friends. I appreciate his brave service to me and his country. Because of the unselfish service offered by him and others, we live in a free, peaceful nation. God bless you.
I am sorry for the loss of this wonderful young man. He was serving our country that makes him important to me. More so then any politician anywhere. Our service men do more serving than do the robbers and cut throats in DC.
May God Bless his family with comfort and strength at this sad time.
Cory, God Bless you, Thank you for your service to our country. I am proud of you.
Ruth from Texas
My prayers are with his Wife and Family! Thank you for your service!
"Another wasted life"..well only according to you. Have you ever heard of "Greater love..." May God bless and comfort his family. To all who have sacrificed for love of country, I thank you.
I bet he was embraced in heaven.
I wish they could find a solution to ied's. How many life's have been lost because of them?
A life given in service. He will be forever remembered as someone who truly knew the meaning of love and sacrifice. Our prayers are with the family at this time. We thank him for his gift of service.
The only solution to IEDs killing American soldiers is to hunt down and kill those who manufacture them. This is one of the areas where torture works quite effectively and should be used far more frequently and intensely.
These young people are dying in vain. Bring the troops home now!
Speaking as the brother of a soldier that survived an IED in Afghanistan, I couldn't agree more with you.
Blessings be to Cory's wife and their baby. May His Life be remembered as one who served with all His Heart, Soul and Might to protect Our Freedom. We know where Cory is right now...are we living our life so that we will be with him again? May it be comforting to know that others are Praying for those in His Family at this most difficult time.
With Friendship and Love,
"Thank You for Caring, Serving & Doing All You Could for Us who are left behind!"
I was Cory's teacher long ago, and I can say without a moments hesitation say that this young man was a very special person. The loss of Cory is a loss for so many. Special prayers to Cory's wife and baby girl. As a mother, my heart goes out to Cory's parents.
I am so grateful for men like your son, husband, brother and father. I believe the Lord has a special place for men of that selfless caliber. He dies for me, my wife, my four kids ... our freedom and way of life. May God, his angels and Cory himself buoy up his wife and kids now and throughout their lives. Every time I fly my flag for this great nation I see the symbolic meaning of the colors and the flag itself and think of men like Cory. Thank you Cory and family, from a father who is eternally grateful for your selfless acts. God be with you and your family.
