Take it to him Andy. Great game and I expect to see you start against KC.
His play was very enjoyable. I hope to see more of it on Saturday. Thank you for the show Andy.
I have heard people comment that Morales plays too much side to side. I did notice that with Andy on the field the ball tended to go upfield more than when Morales is out there. I don't know, that was just me probably. Williams definitely has good atributes and things that still work well for us. Morales has good things about him also. All I remember about Andy that makes the difference for me is last years Colorado game. Andy was going to get us into the playoffs. Yura put the ball into the net, but Williams did all the fighting to ball at Yuras' foot. Go Andy, get us to the promised land again!
There's gotta be room for both Morales and Williams on the field. Good guys. Quality players.
Andy is awesome, Good luck tomorrow and as nerves said, get us to the playoffs again!
I also enjoyed the moment near the end of the match when Andy went to the corner and juggled the ball until the guy defending him knocked it over the end line for a corner kick. Cheeky doesn't begin to describe it.
Andy Williams has, I think, always been the heart of this team. I hope that if he's willing, he ends up in the front office after he retires.
I'm calling for Andy Williams to play more. Not just when RSL has injuries or guys playing for their national team. He should be starting every game. If we could find space for Javi, Mathis, and Williams that's an awesome midfield! Those guys all have great vision. If it's defense you're worried about with that line-up. Don't worry about it! RSL will have tons of possession and put the opposition on it's heals. Offense will be rolling!
Despite your comment, STEVE-O, I would still be worried about defense with that lineup. None of those guys are known for their stellar defense. It could be fun though.
Reality check:
Andy has a few good moments but overall was a step behind and a second late. He should have been cautioned on a reckless foul with cleets up.
His shots were either weak or off target.
I like Andy, and believe is a good asset on the bench, but his lack of mobility and work ethic (at this stage probably just a result of age) are a liability.
That being said I'll take him over Grabavoy and El Kalifi any day.
I'd like to see Cox enter the line up again, I thought he had some real spark.
Any thoughts as to why he hasn't been on the pitch much?
