Dining out: Smashburger

The Creamery on Ninth at BYU has been making burgers lie that for years.

I was really not impressed. Everything was so greasy. It was like they slathered the bun with butter until it was just soggy. And for the price I would rather go to Five Guys. The Smashfries were good but that was about it.

I just ate at Smashburger for lunch. I say it was "meh" at best. EVERYTHING! was greasy. I got the "flash fried" veggie frites and it was obviously the oil wasn't hot enough. They were SOAKING with grease, I had to squeeze each veggie in a napkin to make it edible. Other people at my table had the smashfries, they were okay, I guess I am just not a huge fan of rosemary, because that is all I could taste.

Are you kidding? That was probably the best hamburger I have ever eaten and the fries were unbelievable. I am trying to find out how they make them so I can do it at home.
