should never see the light of day. He is and will be a clear and present danger to society. If he is ever released I hope his half-way house is adjacent to the defense counsel's home.
I don't think he will ever be released. Most likely if he is not sent to regular jail he will remain in the mental jail.

It is always interesting to hear about the legal tactics in some cases that altogether confound and complicate criminal and civil proceedings. Here you have a lawyer that appears to wants to limit the number of witnesses, to keep pertinent information from the factfinder. So much for the pursuit of justice and all that jazz! Mitchell admittedly kidnapped and raped a young girl… so what does the number of witnesses have to do with anything? Let the court hear the truth so they come to an informed decision about Mitchell's competency… be it brief or detailed.
