Bolt has really learned the value of performance enhancing drugs.

I don't want to make this a racial issue, but your "Biggest Bust" section is horribly written. Why have you chosen 3 prominent black players? Reggie Bush and Michael Vick have proven themselves on the field in one way or another. From a just football point of view, only Vince Young can be considered a bust. What about "other" players? White players can be busts, too. I love the U of U, but Alex Smith deserves to be called a bust before Vick and Bush. That was a very narrow-minded section in this article.

I'm going to have to agree with Chris, your "Biggest Bust" section was brutal. Every team would jump at the chance to have Bush, and apparently a few teams for Vick too. How about including Kyle Orton or Jay Cutler, instead.

Alex Smith didn't come into the league with even a quarter of the hype of Bush, Young or Vick. They were supposed to saviors of their franchises. I don't think even 49er fans were excited by Alex Smith when he was drafted. These hyped players just happen to be black. The article isn't narrow-minded, you're just being quick to overreact.

Ummmmmm, no, I am not being quick to react. Is it me, or is a number one pick supposed to elevate his team to another level in one way or another? It does not matter if fans were excited or not, Alex was deemed the best player in the draft and selected number 1. The "Biggest Bust" section was very narrow-minded becasue it made a completely false accusation of what a bust is and who is a bust and it did not elaborate in any way. After reading this article, "You can say race doesn’t matter, but a look at how we treat the screw-ups of Josh Hamilton vs. Josh Howard indicates otherwise," by Richie Witt of the Dallas news, you will see what I am talking about. I am sure Doug Robinson didn't mean to come off the way I think he does in the article, but he does sound a little narrow-minded.

How can you NOT include Alex Smith. He's not exactly in the league of a Ryan Leaf, but as a former #1 overall, you have to say he's a bust. The guy can't even beat out Shaun Hill - a career backup!

Bush has produced. Vick was a quality starter. Vince Young - not so much. But just look at Smith's stats. 19 TD's against 31 INT's. A career rating of 63.5. Sure you can say he's played on a bad team. That's true. But he also hangs onto the ball way too long, makes bad decisions, throws into coverage and can't hang onto the ball when he does take a sack.
