Nice to hear of a caring organization giving of their time and resources to care for their neighbor.

REMOVE THE GREED FROM THE INSURANCE AND MEDICAL INDUSTRY AND SEE THE CARE IMPROVE!

yes and no

This is truly a good thing. Truly.

But the question has to be asked: why don't these people have adequate, daily medical care available? THis is embarassing. My nation can't provide for the people it stole the land from?

It is illustrative of government run health programs that there are delays in appointments and overwhelmed staffs. Glad they had the humility to accept outside volunteers. Great program all the way around. Think I can drop a few dollars on Remote Area Medical!

This is the way it's suppose to be. Take care of Americans first!

I received services and also volunteered in this. It was a great program. All of the qualified staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The quality of the services was excellent. I am greatfull for the volunteer staff that came from all over the U.S., Hats off to you! There is kind people still out there.

"[the] group [NOW] spends 64 percent of its time working in the United States because of the rising number of people who are uninsured or underinsured.

The richest country in the world can't even provide affordable health care to its people. Deplorable!! But hey at least two things conservatives are certain about Obama was born in Kenya and is a Nazi.

this group should set up clinics at all reservations throughout the nation. there is so much need of health care for native people. if you go to an ihs clinic and are 5 or so minutes late they want see you and then it takes months before they schedule another appointment. all the native veterans who fought for this country receive little or no health care or if they do they have to travel long distances to get medical services. i am glad to hear that there are kind and caring people to provide this service.
