This is the World Series for the best of the best 13 year olds. Last night the 8:00 pm game was between a team from PA and one from Washington State, opposite ends of the country. The 12 year old Babe Ruth World series from Williamsport, PA is on ESPN. It's sad we don't at least have more local media coverage.

Yes the coverage is sad and the local media outlets should be embarassed!!! Taking to coaches and players at the world series they think Murray is doing a good job hosting the event, but they are shocked that the media never does any stories, and if the do it's about T-ville, who in their minds is a horrible team, with very unsportsman like fans. For me, fan support is very sad also. There are some very good teams there to watch, but unfortunately, the instate teams are way behind this year. Go pick a team that only has a few parents and family members and cheer them on. They really appreciate it when Utahns come and cheer them on!!!

Yes the coverage of this event was bleak, to say the least. You would have thought that it would have been bigger news, considering it was the first 13 year old world series....I take that back it was the first babe ruth world series in Utah history... Dropped ball by the media in my oppinion................

What a sad state the Utah media is in. Murray hosts the Babe Ruth World Series, and no one shows up. Thank you Deseret News, KSL, KUTV, KTVX and Fox 13. You all missed a wonderful series. Next time try to show up when we hold a world class event. Congratulations to Murray City and thank you for hosting this fabulous event.....
