Great job team and coaches. The play calling mix was fantastic! Nice to see lots of boys touch the ball!
Go Warriors!

A total EMBARRASSMENT.
If they don't get an offense they will go 0-10!

game

the leopards need to go back to work and forget this game and move on

Way to go East players. 12 Starters were suspended for the first half. That is a completely different game if they all play, SC had negative yards in the second half against the East 1st D.

SWITCHERROO

I don't know what happened in the 2nd half.

I do know that if SC makes the 5 hour bus ride to SLC in NOV. beating a team like EAST won't nearly be the cakewalk that happened friday night.

Both teams will improve; EAST can't possibly play any worse; can they?

sc did dominate the first half. but the second half real starting deffense destroyed the warrior offense. the only first downs for sc in the second half were sparked by some kind of penalty

d

neither team scored in the second half so it shows snow canyon can hang with the 1st team of east right?

Anonymous

Put this.
East's 1st D= LEGIT
East's 1st O= AWFUL

Hey Anonymous

True, East was better in the second half, but SC chose to run out the clock in the 4th quarter when they were near the red zone. They could have scored if it would have mattered. East's offense sure didn't improve in the 2nd half. Can you say 'goose egg'?

Maybe

you should go back to the leather helmet and the Wing-t becouse it's been a long time since East has been shut out.

Great Job SC, Way to hold it together all game and Finish it! You have a long season ahead of you but like Graft said, " It's nice to start this way and show the boys what we are doing is working"

Great Job SC!!

wow

i think it is funny how people think east is so much better but when the starters came in i recall the second half score being 0-0 and its not sc's fault those starters got themselfs in trouble. sc did a great job and shut them out.

Enjoy the trip up here next week.

leather helmet

at least the old fashioned offense produced.

East Alumn

Wow, this was a beating, but not surprising since East is adapting to a new offense. All Snow Canyon did was take advantage of East's new system and voila, easy win.
East can't depend on tradition to take them by, each year that East has played well is because of hard work, and I believe they're working hard to keep this tradition going. I expect this year to be a little rough, but they have a valid excuse. Next year should be solid and no need for excuses.

Re: East Alumn

no, there's no excuse for that. they looked like a pee wee little league team with a horrible excuse of an offense. Knox has them running way to complicated schemes...ones that few teams can get by with. Keep it simple and they'll be fine. East has been a hard hitting, pound the ball team. They are trying to be all finese all the sudden and the plays are too complicated for their lineman and bigger guys...they need to keep it simple. I'm not a guy who blames things on coaching, per se, but they picked the wrong guy to lead this team.

Region Nine

East Alumn, let's not forget that SC has an all new system as well. Coach Graft and staff seem to have these boys on the right track. Well done SC, beating a team from up north that I'm sure came in with the mentality that this game would be a cake-walk. 4A Region 9 should be interesting this year with SC's new scheme, Dixie's great skill position players, and PV doing what they always do.

Leopard Alum

I would like to think that this will get turned around, but quality opponents (no offense Snow Canyon) in West Jordan and Mt. Crest spell disaster. I'm afraid that we're going to turn into another West.

Doomed

East is doomed! A classic example of a former athlete getting into head coaching too soon, without doing his time LEARNING under a good coach. There will be many games this year where East is outcoached, just be prepared East fans.

I love it!
