Congrats Clint
I lived in Tooele for a short time so I'm familiar with Stansbury, but where is Maple Mountain?
Why does the media say Stansbury is in Tooele, Stansbury is no more in Tooele than South Jordan is in Salt Lake City. Stansbury is in Stansbury, one must leave Stansbury and pass through Erda before arriving in Tooele. Oh by the way great job Stansbury!!
I've heard this a couple of times already, including on TV, but Salem Hills and Desert Hills played their first games together just last year.
Great win last night Salem Hills!
Where would you say Cottonwood is?
Maple Mountain is the new Nebo School District high school. It is in Spanish Fork. It's boundaries include the East side of Spanish Fork and all of Mapleton. The Golden Eagles will play their home opener next Friday against Westlake High School, the other new high school to open in Utah this year. I'll bet that's never happenned before.
Maple Mtn is in the Nebo School district - Mapleton/ Spanish fork area. Good game Stansbury.
Doesnt Stansbury have a Tooele zip code? So wouldnt that be in Tooele?
Yeah good job stansbury, maple looked like a bunch of 8th graders
Excellent!!!
I can't wait to jump on the stansbury band wagon! they are going to have a fantastic season!
The majority of Maple Mountain's starters are sophomores. So you gotta give it to them, they're undersized and have a lack of experience for a reason. They are going to be one of the worst teams in 4a. But in 2 years, that's going to change.
You looked awesome Stansbury!! I don't see many weaknesses in our team this year. We will continue to dominate the 4A classification. I see a undefeated preseason and then we can start taking one team down at a time come region time! Stallions are for real!
if tooele played maple it would of been 50-0. tooele....
I believe that Parry's Power poll is right, Maple Mountain is the 4th worse football team in the state, in any classification. So, give it a few weeks before "Stallion Fan" uses the phrases "dominate the 4A classification" - have you heard of Timpview and Mountain Crest?
to me it sounds like Maple is going to be the next Syracuse. Horrible first season but the experience will pay off and they will be a Juggernaut in a year or two.
Good job stansbury, I wish all the true stansbury kids luck. There are some great ones that we are missing here in Tooele, and I hope you do well but for the Hunt kid. Leave your real team hi and dry so you can be a star QB then you get benched. That’s awesome serves you right!
Lets keep the kids out of it.
You sound like you root for BYU also, after going undefeated and dominating all opponents starting a majority of sophomores, the stansbury stallions might play a Div. 1 team in a Bowl game and dominate them and stansbury will be the ultimate High school team, i think i'm going to jump on he stansbury band wagon as well, I'm not a big fan of long rides : )
Hey TB Maybe you ought to get your facts straight. The Hunt kid was solid on off. and Def... You can ask anyone who went the game... Better yet you'll find out first hand and I mean first hand Oct. 22nd till then shut your Face.
