Heartbreaking

I feel so sorry for his wife and family. He must have been very despondent.

Magen, Brian, Talisa, Lisa and to the rest of his beautiful family.... I am so sorry for your loss. Ben will be so missed, probably above all by you. The baby on the way will be the gift to the world he leaves behind. You are in my thoughts and in my prayers.

I love you guys, never in a million years would I have thought of this scenario. See you soon.

As soon as I saw this article, my heart sunk. I am the mom of another Benjamin, who at the age of 20, did something similar. Words cannot express my sympathy for the loved ones left behind. The first year is the hardest. Know that the mind can be just as sick as the body and nobody has the right to judge his actions. Only God truly knows his heart. May God hold you all in the hollow of his hand. I am including my e-mail address if you think I might be able to help in some way. My thoughts and prayers have been with your family. Cathy

Our hearts were also broken 9 months ago. My AMAZING husband and dad to our four beautiful children took his life. Just remember that they didn't do this to hurt us, they were just trying to escape the pain and pressures the world puts on us to be PERFECT. My Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family through this difficult time. I think I can say like everybody else I NEVER saw this coming!!!! Teresa

Having known Ben since he was in 2nd grade, he was like a brother to our daughter as she was the best friend of his sister. He was a very nice and sweet little boy. When I saw him a year ago, he still was a wonderful young man. My heart breaks for Lisa, Brian, Talisa, Maegen and Malcom, I can't imagine the pain they are feeling. But my prayers are with them and his wife and daughter. There is no way anyone could have seen this coming, he just needed to leave this cruel world. We'll try to just remember all the good memories. May God be with his family at this horrible time and help them get through the pain of his loss. Susanna Sharp

Being an old geezer and having seen a lot of people who were depressed because the felt they couldn't measure up. I have reached the conclusion that this Idea of being perfect comes from the minds of those who think they are. If we believe we can be perfect we have lost touch with reality, Also those who think they are perfect have also lost touch with reality. Its sad when these thing happen.

Ben always had such a great smile and personality. He will be missed greatly.
