More rental cars! Wahoo!!! Boy howdy that's just what we need. Why didn't someone think of this before...
This is a classic case of improper use of tax funds. The government has absolutely no constitutional basis for providing tax dollars to U-Haul or any other private enterprise.
Where does the article say that any tax money is being used? Answer -- it doesn't.
The dittoheads have been so brainwashed/polarized by their leaders rush and sean of the deadheads, that anything they don't understand becomes bad in their so called "minds". Transportation planners have been waiting for tools like this to become feasible, ie. become market driven, as the first steps to creating better cities with less pollution, financial burden and traffic. So next time you criticize a new program do some research for yourself first.
@Zadruga the article says UTA is involved, which implies public funding. But you are correct, this article is so poorly written it leaves all the important questions unasked. I was half way through the article and still had no idea what the program really was. I will definitely have to do some more research.
