Comments about ‘Orton flops in Denver debut, Alex Smith solid’

For anyone to expect Orton to do well and lead the Broncos on to victory, goes against type. He played the way he generally plays, consistantly poor. I think we saw in Shaun Hill the reason he plays and Smith rides the bench. Think back to all the high first round QB picks and ask yourself, WHY? Follow the Heisman winning USC QB who were high draft choices, to see for yourself it makes no sence to use your best draft choice on a QB, when it's likely most playing now were not drafted in the first round
