Making Wynn the starting QB probably insures two more loss for Utah. I think fans should expect 4 losses on the year. A green QB, no Sakoda, a tough schedule away from home...it's going to be a downer year for the Utes.
Agreed...this is definitely a rebuilding year, especially after losing Sakoda (someone who scored 25% of Utah's points last season).
This will be a down year from last year from Utah. Their defense will be pretty solid still, but NOT better than last year. They lost Kruger, Smith, and McCain, the three most talked about guys from last year's D. The only players of note really back this year are the two safties, and more or less Stevenson Sylvester. The rest of their defensive players are okay. The offense may still have some talented players with Jereme Brooks and David Reed and a tough yardage running back in Asiata, but that's basically it. Will they score some points? yes, will they be solid defensively? Yes. But will the be close to the caliber of last year's team? Not by a long shot.
