Sorry Yura, it is just as likely to be a blessing you are out as it would be if you are in. You can't claim to consistently produce.
Seattle is being run by people who know soccer, the so-called "purists" 'lil Checketts likes to mock. Meanwhile, our owner wants to bring back penalty shootouts after every tie. One of the most telling statements made this week was when Kasey Keller said he had little interest in playing Barcelona on Wednesday because all he cared about was the league match that counted with RSL on Saturday. Would anybody in RSL's organization have been allowed to make such a heretical statement? I can't imagine those words coming out of Kreis or Lagerway's mouths, even if Checketts brought in a team of dancing bears for us to play an exhibition against. Over our first five seasons, our management group has set a standard of incompetance that may never be matched again in this league. And hosting a club like Seattle really underscores that once again.
guys let's get all 3 tonight.
Go RSL!
This game is huge. We need to play an excellent game and finish our opportunities. Someone on the team needs to step up and take charge. Whether it be Morales, Espy, Findley. Someone needs to become a star on this team.
Good article, and I wish RSL all the best on the playoff race. But the Sounders are hungry, are fortified with our new left back, are healthy, and are due some goals. Sorry it'll have to come at RSL's expense.
Wait what did the sounders fan just say? Ha so much for a sounders win at Salt Lake's expense
