Stanford is stud. Can't wait to see him play at corner. And I really can't wait for the season to start. Go Utes!
Wow! Two of our corners ready to replace the two drafted to the NFL this year have 4.3 and 4.33 speed. I'm definately feeling good about the Pass Defense this year. Keep working your butts off guys, cause we want to see you destroying out there this season.
I bet byu would kill for our 3rd and 4th string corners!!! Love our depth.
Good luck boyz
I personally can't wait to see BOO ANDERSON play some Defense!!!
What an absolute MONSTER!
kkb
Looks like the BCS bowl wins are finally starting to pay off.
A winning program and coaching continuity has put the Utes on a level that most other non-BCS teams can only dream of.
Thanks Coach Whittingham. It's never been more fun to be a Ute then it is right now.
Those practice jerseys look sick. We're now one of the premeir teams sponsored by Under Armor. Last year those guys got new cleats for the sugar bowl with the drum and feather embroidered on them. Pimpin.
If the corners are solid our defense will be amazing!!
greatstrength- conditioning coach ...thats where its at!
north and south. He can cover fly patterns well, but is pathetic at shallow routes. I hope we don't get that fact exposed by other teams. We need to win at least 7 or 8 games to keep momentum going.
on this board? I guess it's not so easy to talk trash after reading that the Utes will have the exact same stellar defense that they had last year. Good luck Max. Let's go for 7 turnovers this year.
I love Utah guys with 4.3 speed. For whatever reason, they just can't seem to keep up with our slow white guys in Provo. McCain was my favorite.
Why the comments about Provo? Who cares?
I'm optimistic about Stanford and Burton. However, it would be wonderful to have Lacy on the roster in time to be an impact player (and maybe a starter).
I know exactly what you mean. Like when Sean Smith intercepted the ball and Collie tackled him because he wasn't fast enough.
It's funny that you forgot that Smith had to slow down and change directions to avoid Max Hall on that play. You're football IQ isn't very high.
Fans (zealots) who use good articles about Utah to dump on BYU need to get a life - same true for Yiners who think Utah articles are a place to dump on the Utes. The negative cry babies, Red or Blue need to get a life. Go Utes kick some kitty cat butt this year AND the better the record at the school down south when the UTES beat the better it is for UTAH. I really am pulling for the kitty cats against Oklahoma. Could be a great upset.
Thanks for explaining it to me...I finally get it. You're such a tool! Don't assume you're everyone's life coach. People don't like people like you. Live and let live, if you don't like it--change the channel.
It is definitely a fun time in Uteville.
Keys to the season could end up being the play of the corners as well as the QB managing the offense well while limiting turnovers. If those two positions go well, and the team stays healthy, it could be another good year, as the Utes are loaded.
Sounds to me like someone has an itchy clock finger!
that's impressive lets just see what they clock in at a NFL combine now that's the question..
