This is great. The less commonly taught languages, typically include Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, and Russian, and are significant in that they represent the languages spoken natively by a quarter of the world’s population (CIA World Factbook, 2005), but only constitute 1.3 percent of the languages studied in US schools (US Department of Education, 2000). Go Loan Peak Elementary!

Bonjour Oak Hollow

We are looking forward to the new French immersion program at Oak Hollow. I hope it is successful. The whole school seems to be gearing up for the change. Again, bonjour. We look forward to the opportunity to grow and experience a new cultural event. Thank you to Madame Labell for sharing her expertise with the school.
