Good article, but I believe the YEWTZZZ will still show some arroagance about last years 13 / 0 season. As a team, they will look past Utah State and will lose the ball game....10 to 7!
I just wish they played us and that would be ANOTHER LOSS....'cause we're the best in the WAC.
They will also lose to TCU and BYU.
Final season.....7 and 5!!!!
GO BOISE STATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good luck, Utes! It's tough to improve from a perfect season, but if we keep the intensity up, the MWC will inherit the Big East's automatic bid and thus end the BCS in about 4 years.
I'm shocked more people can't see what is really going on. The Utes lacked a reliable backup this year and really needed Cain as an insurance policy. Part of his recruitment was a promise to compete for the starting job. Coaches have to make it look like a race, or they will be breaking a promise. Louks will be the starter, with Cain waiting for an injury or turnover bug to hit Louks. Wynn is an awesome prospect, but the kid will benefit from a redshirt, cafeteria, and weightroom.
Good try Boise State Fan. Or should I say, B.Y.Spew troll who is trying to pose as a BSU fan. If I were a kewgar fan, I'd want to hide my identity too. I don't give any credence to your comments because all you're trying to do is stir the pot. And to do it at 2:28 a.m.? Get a life dude. Thanks anyways.
i say the swine flu will cancel the season as you cant control that and all the airports...so there go chew on that for awhile...just a very credible variable to be identified!
Yo momma so stupid, she thought a " Quaterback" was a refund..lol!!..
ROLL'EM UP UTES!!
Yo momma so ugly (blue turf)...she has to sneak up on a glass of water to get a drink..haha!!
BEAT'EM UP UTES!
Even as a die hard BYU fan I'd love to see the Utes pick up where they left off last year, at least in OOC games, so hopefully the team is very focused on its next game which has been Utah's strength lately.
I always get nervous when a QB battle lasts into the fall camp as not having a clear leader for the summer break can create a lot of problems. The starter needs time to get used to the first team offense, the first team players need to get used to the QB's game and often times when QB's are competing loyalties build up between the various QB's and other players on the offense. I hope "QB Situation" is right because it's never a good thing to have a QB competition go past the beginning of August. There's just so much to learn and so little time, especially with a new OC.
Re: BS Boise: Stop blaming Boise comments on BYU trolls. It's entirely possible a BYU troll posted that, but BSU fans can be just as obnoxious as anyone. Stop stealing their thunder.
BOISE COMIN OUT WITH YOUR SMALL TOY HAMMER BIG WHOOP!!! IDAHO WAC CHAMPS
Just so I understand this, we're forgetting last year, right?! So who was it that decided on "Sweet Home Alabama" for the first practice? Just as an aside, someone should remind Coach Whit that when expressing doubfulness at the liklihood of an event, the least likely us usually exressed last. ie. It's tough enough to get one, let alone two. Now isn't that easy. What exactly did he mean when he said "there's not enough time to get three guys ready, let alone two"? Maybe he still had Lynard Skynyrd on his mind. You know, "Simple Man"!
It doesn't matter who Utah has play QB because Max Hall is sooooo much better that the Cougs are the team to watch for a BCS bowl buster. Utah had a lucky season but BYU was better last year and this year they have a really good shot at going undefeated. Watch out Oklahoma, you're going to see passing you've never faced in the Pac 10. Max will put up at least 400 yards and maybe more as we shock the nation. After that game we'll be in the top 5 and should handle Florida easily at home.
A Boise State Smuf talking smack is like a litte girl wearing heals and trying to look like her mom...all we can do is smile, laugh and say perhaps soon you'll grow up and be big enough. Re: Cain...I think he has already profited from the weight room...the kid put on 30 lbs...amazing! The Utes will be running a real spread not what was used last year to protect Brian from getting hurt. More speed, more spread, more victories...Go Utes!
They played "Sweet Home Alabama". Talk about living in the past!
I just no are teem are going to win everbody this year an be national champs. We are so dang good.
The BYU fans posting on this blog need to get a life! Typcial BYU mentality. Same mentality for the last 30 years. You guys must be the sons of past BYU fans.
You are soooo right, they should have gone with something much more modern. Like "Thriller" or Van Halen's "Jump" both from the magical year of 1984!
I realize Sweet Home Alabama is a classic song but at least it was about last year. Speaking of did that song happen to be realeased in 1984?
Re: Logical - There is nothing logical about anything you said. Spelling errors and bad grammar derailed your entire point so no one could understand what you were trying to say. It was also a little nit picky (Just like this post)
Re: Angel - Get your facts straight before you post. Oklahoma is in the BIG 12, not the PAC 10. BYU was not better than Utah last season. If they were, they would not have had lost to the teams they did. Utah did get a few lucky bounces, but in the end, the trounced 'Bama, which it is doubtful BYU could have done with their lack of defense (read this as no pass defense). Additionally, you are playing FLORIDA STATE this year, not Florida. Trust me, there is a difference.
C'mon people, please think before you post!
YOu Ute fans cant handle your own arguments. I recall Ute fans always telling BYU that they live in the past. and now the utes are living in the past.
People who starve for attention will do and say about anything.
I am embarrassed for BYU football if that's what you really believe.
