NFL money could have saved the AFL. Why would the NFL create a farm system, or even something equivalent of the NBA-DL?
They already have the SEC, Big XII, Big-10, Pac-10, ACC and Big East. They can continue to exploit student athletes and supporters of college football. People are so willing to pour money, yes millions, into a system that does little to prepare our young men, many of whom are African-American, to go pro in something other than football.
