This is a wonderful calling for people to be able to give life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness to lower animals. I can only wish there were people and places like this that would take in human beings when they become old, useless and worn out.

Often the homeless, destitute and unfortunate are just left to fend for themselves in the streets of most of our cities. It is strange to me that we would not take care of our fallen brothers and sisters just because they are humans.

We have volunteered there a few times during vacation.

Great people doing great work.
