At some point someone has to be accountable for this miserable road record. That's just awful.

Blaa Blaa

Kries, enough with the excuses. THE TEAM LOST AND IT WAS AN UGLY GAME! "we deserved better, we should have had a draw". Give me a break, we need more than a draw. RSL, fans are starting not to care. Look, no one even take the time to right a post any more. The team looked asleep the entire night and the coaches waited until the last five minutes to use the third sub. If the players are not getting it done pull them at half. If your going to loss at least give us what we want as fans and have Willams start. At least we can cheer for him and his family instead of the ugly game RSL played.

Re: Anonymous

To me, the coaching staff is responsible. The game plan since the beginning was NOT TO LOOSE. Way too many lateral passes and not an offensive in block. Sometimes, it look that they have no practices, the players ignore where their teammates are. The dark clouds of NOT QUALIFYING FOR THE PLAYOFFS are in the horizon.

I agree with the above; Kreis needs to go. His coaching philosophy is not to lose. His teams go into a defensive shell when they are up a goal as well which has cost us more than a few points this year. The style of play he incorporates is hard to watch; tons of moving the ball around but so much of it is lateral and never threatening to the defense.
Pretty frustrating; I for one was so excited for this season and now that excitement is dwindling with each game.

tired

I am tired of Jason painting such a rosy picture after every loss. Where is the accountability? It would be nice to call out a player or two once in a while. Will Johnson was awful. Beltran made several key mistakes. There was no energy almost the entire game. Yet, we were in a position come away with a point. No runs in the box, limited numbers going forward. That is coaching my friends. We have the talent to compete with anyone in the league. The gameplan was too conservative. The coaching staff has to take some of the heat. I am a die-hard RSL fan, but I am starting to wonder.....

who?

You people who want a new coach aren't thinking straight. This is the mls! We are not going to be able to get a better coach unless we spend and mls teams dont exactly have very much money. So tell me kreis haters.. Who exactly could fill kreis' spot? Think about it

Coaching

Who? I am not a coach stat expect, but are you trying to say the Kreis, who before coaching mls had absolutley ZERO coaching experience is not replaceable, and that at his pay there are no better coaches. This is nuts. The team was a joke Saturday. To say anything different means you either like boring, slow, poor soccer. Or you are a fan that watched a different game then me. I am tired of junk play on the field. I don't care who goes just improve the product. RSL will not make the playoffs this year and needs to be realy careful or they will not have any fans next year.

Yawn...who cares? Oh yeah, the other 7 people who put comments on the board about this joke team in this joke league and this joke sport.

To Anonymous at 6:49 AM. At least you are now recognizing that soccer is a sport! We are making progress! Soon you will be cheering on the awesomeness of soccer and RSL. It will be nice to have you and all of your friends aboard.

Dobro

Disappointing. We seem to put some strong showings together, but can't finish our opportunities.

no

I will not renew my season tickets next year if they have this kind of crappy performance.

Cowboy

How easy the panic sets in!

Bad result yes, but this was away against one of the leagues top teams who need to be treated with respect. Chicago also have good depth which pays big dividends during the mid-season stretch - even with their squads the Madrids, Milans and Manchesters have off-days so it is unrealistic to ignore the wider picture.

With Seattle and Houston at home before NE and Kansas away we're in a position where every point will make a big difference in keeping momentum before the final playoff push, so it was a gamble worth taking even if it failed this time.

RSL are a solid outfit but the team needs to be more cohesive. A consistent finisher up top and a bit more strength in the spine and they could be title contenders.

Cowboy

Optimism is great but title contender, RSL is in the bottom third of the league right now. That is a long way from the title. I have tried to support this team but it is getting harder and harder every day.

If the starters can't get it together, the coaches need to at least make some worthwhile subs!!!! We needed someone who can and has made a difference during losing away games. Cox was the ONLY one to score at Columbus! He hasn't seen PT since - what a joke! Not only does he deserve to play, the team needs him!

1-7-2 is awful!

Did I read that right? A terrible road record.
