Wild animal born in captivity for human amusement, how sad.

I hope he gets the best of care.

Zoo and animal lover

Having zoos and zoologists who study these animals and present the animals and their findings to the public is not just "amusement." I think it fosters learning, understanding, and love of the animal kingdom. I believe the more we know and enjoy animals the more likely we are to want to save them. Those who work with animals help save them from extinction. My family has purchased a yearly zoo pass for several years so all of my children have a love of animals. One child to the point where he nursed a pigeon who had been frozen to the road back to health in our home. We let him free when he was healthy. As humans it is our duty to understand and protect animals and I believe that the Hogle Zoo helps foster this in their patrons and in the world.

A couple of Words

Thank you, Zoo and Animal Lover. You're so right.

lover of animals

I am so glad that there are people out there that love animals as much as I do. And it amazing to what life can bring to are world. I hope this giraffe can grow up healthy and happy in is home. And I hope that people will take the time to stop at the zoo and check out all the cool animals.
