Cedar Hills all over again. But in a city so dysfunctional it couldn't manage the Yankees to a victory. Those cheap Eagle Mountain homes aren't going to look like such a good deal when the property tax hikes come!
Windiest course, worst design. They should plow it under and make more polygamist homes.
That's too bad that it's too hard for you.
Narrow fairways lead to more precise shots, I find that this course enhances my game rather than providing me wide fairways with little consequence of a missed shot.
Holes 9 and 18 need to be redone, they're WAAAY too steep.
Play in the mornings and there's never any wind.
Very noticeable differences already in Vanguard's mgmt of the course. We were greeting in the parking lot with a cart and smiling faces when we appeared last Saturday morning at 6. We were lucky to find anyone manning the desk at that time in the past.
Much better situation than Cedar Hills. Cedar Hills actually owes a bond on the course. Eagle Mountain has no debt payments on the course. I'm sure Cedar Hills would love to be in the same golf situation as Eagle Mountain.
From my experience, most businesses that fail are because of bad management. From what Vanguard posted, it sounds like business practices have already improved from the way they were before. You can't win a stable customer base if you can't even be there to service them.
Service is completely different now. Friendly people, course is tough but management makes the difference.
