When will the legislature learn that the answer to crime prevention is not to arm every man, woman, and child in the state? That is exactly the sort of attitude that allows these drive-by shootings to occurr in the first place.

Huh?

A possible gang-related drive by shooting, and you want to blame this on laws enabling law-abiding citizens to defend themselves? I'll lay aside the silly all-or-nothing bit about "arm every man, woman, and child" which is not rooted in reality.

Wow, how ignorant can you be? You really think the gun used here was a legal registered weapon? You really think it would matter what laws were passed? This is the type of ignorance that makes me want to buy more guns.

To Whiggy: TAKE THE BLINDERS OFF!
More gun laws! how stupid can you be. Passing more laws only prevents those who OBEY the laws from obtaining legal firearms. Guns used by "gang bangers" are either stolen or bought on the black market, never purchased legally. Ignorance of the facts, makes you look very foolish. Enforcement of the current laws and prosecution to the max is the answer for using a gun to commit a crime, not punishing those who obey the laws with more foolish laws.
