pretty brave of the judge. Give a man 8 years, and then tell him he has a few months to surrender and start the sentance.

this is crazy. glad i don't live in utah. socal is better with stronger family values. candy man, he should be called druggy man. he is bad.

Scott who lives in reality.

Stronger family values? I live in Southern California. Michael Jackson just died here. The drugs are very prevelant here.

SoCal?

Southern California has better family values!?!?!?! HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! One of the funniest jokes I've ever heard. Good one scott.

Kenneth in Texas

"Dr." Stack stated "I feel real remorse and I feel it deeply." Is his remorse for his reckless and unprofessional actions, or just remorse for being caught? When did his "remorse" begin -- after he was caught? I do not recall reading that he turned himself in. From the article, it sounds like he is still in partial denial; inconsistent with true remorse.

He further stated "I want to redeem myself and correct the mistakes that I have made." How does he propose correcting his mistakes? I doubt he has any pills in his arsenal that will bring back lives lost or otherwise messed up.

What does family values in Utah vs. So. CA have to do with the subject of this article?
