Does Anybody want to be Governor

Is there anybody in Utah that wants to be elected Governor and then FINISH the elected term?

Two consecutive governors resigning to accept "better" positions. . . ..

I can guarantee one thing...

Herbert is here to stay. And I couldn't be more excited about it.

Nancis

Well let's see.... I get a wonderful job promotion.

Question - Should I take it or not??

Duh.... What would you do??

And... Gov. Leavitt has done a great job at his higher position, as I am sure Gov Huntsman will also.

It's always hard to lose someone here who is doing a great job, but Herbert should be another great addition for Utah!!

The Alternative

To "Does Anybody want to be Governor" above.

The alternative is to elect Governors who are second tier leaders as opposed to world class leaders and visionaries like Leavitt and Huntsman.

You choose second tier leaders and you can keep them all to yourself for all four years of their terms.

Just wondering

Now I see more clearly who has been responsible for the increased trade with Communist Countries....does anyone realize it is UNCONSTITUTIONAL to be doing business with our ENEMIES? Have you noticed how Communist China is holding us hostage by our debt to them??? Chinese goods flood our markets destroying our manufacturing businesses.....and now we are closing in on bankruptcy! America...wake up! Stop buying things "Made in China"..and as for Mr. Huntsman, I hope he reads his job description, and the Constitution before he sells America to the Communist!

re Just Wondering

It is obvious that you do not understand anything about free trade or about China. America can only blame itself for the concept of free trade. We (America) did everything possible to convince other countries of the virtues of Free Trade and encouraged them to adopt this practice. Now that extremely high labor costs (mostly due to trade Unions and greed) have forced American companies to go elsewhere for the production of their products - or go broke - we blame China and other countries who have adopted Free Trade. We must also remember that China has been willing to buy US Government Bonds when no one else wanted them, and thus we have become dependent on their investments. This is because of our own government stupidity. I am very happy to see Governor Huntsman's appointment to be the Ambassador to China. He is familiar with the culture and speaks the language. In my view, this is an excellent choice.
