It must be...

Shy and elusive. No photo!

We want a picture!!

Check out the Zoo web site. They have a little pic of him.

i hope he stays in the hogle zoo and they dont send him off to another zoo

The cub will most likely stay with its mother for about a year or so and then get sent to another zoo for breeding

I think that is so great! The little cub is so cute!

This is really a sweet picture. I love Cats and I love this photograph. Deseret News always has the best animal photo's. Thanks :)

The snowleopard's native habitat is far up in the snow covered mountains. How humane is it to keep an animal like this in 100-degree weather? An elusive, secretive animal that seeks solitude and cold temperatures is in the middle of a display in Salt Lake City. Sure, it's great to see it, but you could go online and see photos and these animals wouldn't have to be miserable. I saw the news coverage and the mother just panted and panted. Cats don't generally pant. And here's her little cub out for the first time and there are people at the glass viewing window all over the place. The poor mother has to be dealing with some terrible anxiety. Zoos should be abolished. Animals should be protected in their native habitat and human beings should stop being so selfish as to want to use them as something to keep and look at. How selfish. I wish this poor mother and her little one the best.

I totally agree with you! It's very sad to see a wild animal kept in captivity for human amusement- seems so uncivilized and cruel!
