..We got something for basically nothing.
Hit the road Yura, no reason for you to stink around.
Here's to hoping Campos lights up the scoring sheet.
I heard a photographer from Fox 13 said this was a terrific pickup! I am so excited!
This is nice for the price. Let's hope he flops less. We still need better skills up front, don't stop RSL! Use up that cap space.
YESSSSS!!!!! Welcome to RSL Juan Pablo Campos! I hope you can score us some goals
I heard a lot of hype surrounding El-Kaliff during the pre-season, and I am interested and excited to see him play for RSL.
Lets make a strong run to the post season.
RSL!
I sure hope the game he played against us was a fluke. I'm gonna have problems cheering for someone who dives as much as he did in the last game. He seems to be skilled, but if he goes down so easily then I take back my welcome to RSL comment and will boo him as loud as possible.
I thought he played great against us the other week, however, his diving was ridiculous.
I love how all of a sudden Campos is the answere to RSL's problem
I guess Yura can go on a vacation for 5 months now huh!!
no info on El-Kaliff. I too heard a lot of hype about him in pre-season, watched some video. Hope he fits well. Foreign "name" players that have no mls experience often struggle with the mls style of play.
This is not the answer to all our problems. I don't think either of these guys is as good as Yura. oh well.
i think both of them are better then Yura.
This could be a good move. San Jose, especially with Huckerby out, does not have a lot in the way of build up and attack, as we all witnessed. With Morales playing well and Mathis on the wing distributing crosses, this could be a good move.
Do we play him and hope he keeps up his form? Or do we build our lineup for the future by playing our new guys? I say we keep playin movsysian and if he plays like he doesn't care we start building the team
Playing time will tell us the truth.
As long as he's brazilian i'm ok with it. ONLY IF HE'S BRAZILIAN!!!!!!!!!!!
From my seat, I thought Compost was being fouled and he didn't dive. In fact, I prayed that the foul by Nat wasn't called a penalty. Nat definatly took him down; it wasn't a dive.
First and foremost I'm a San Jose fan. But I love RSL. (Was a San Jose fan before RSL existed.) When Campos arrived at San Jose he was very highly regarded. He's a very talented player, I just don't think he fit well in San Jose's system of play. Plus the fact that San Jose pretty much has no attack any way. He's a big guy, like 6' 3" or something close to that. With the 4-3-3 formation we've been playing as of late I think he could be a good fit if we can cross some balls onto his head. (Like we should have done with Deuchar.) I wish him luck and hope he doesn't turn into another RSL striker bust.
If you were really there you would have watched the replay on the jumbotron and seen that he CLEARLY dove. It wasn't even close. No doubt, a flop all the way. But that being said, he ate Nat's lunch all game long. He was bigger, stronger and faster and as well as Borchers has played this year, Campos made him look pretty silly in a lot of situations. Let's hope he can prove to be the player that Real sees all the potential in.
It was a dive, I had a perfect angle of it from my 2nd row seat on the north goal.
Let's just hope he's more efficient than Mov-miss-yan!
