Now go and buy Lamar Odom
I still believe that we give Kruger a contract for this year. He is good enough to fill in and cheap enough that we can get him for a million.
Kruger has been impressive. It's a tough call...Kruger or Ronnie Price.
As much as I like Ronnie, Kevin may be a better choice as a true PG. Ronnie is a SG that has tried to become a PG due to his size.
Ultimately, I think the Jazz will go with the veteran that has been in the system and paid his dues. Kruger's play, thouhg, gives the Jazz an alternative if Price proves difficult to sign or wants too much money.
Kruger has more basketball smarts and knowledge than most players in the NBA. He will be a coach someday. He is much cheaper than Ronnie Price and can shoot. He knows the system from being in Orem and he is a true point guard. The boy can pass. His defense is weak but we only need him to fill in if Maynor doesn't pan out. Dwill isn't riding the pine so there are not many minutes available.
I think the cheaper option is to trade Maynor and go with Kruger. I thought before the draft that Kruger was the 3rd PG option he has performed well with the Flash. So I was suprised that they drafed another PG. I would imagine Kevin was not thrilled either.
It seems as though Josh Duncan may have played himself into an invitation to training camp. Suton definitely struggled. Depending on what happens with Boozer/Millsap, I could see the Jazz letting (telling) him go overseas, work on a couple things, and come back next year. But if he stays, he needs to stop shooting 3s, at least this year.
Maynor did struggle at times, but he is the eventual backup PG. I think the Jazz re-sign Price, because he knows the system, while grooming Maynor. Kruger is a good player, but he is a 3rd PG on an NBA team. And the Jazz could possibly already have their 3 guards
I don't believe the Jazz will sign Price. They didn't want him last year. Kruger has a good chance of landing a contract before Price does.
Gentlemen, behind enemy lines in LA Ive been trying to sale, that the jazz need two things to happen in order for them to succeed in the play-offs and that
is. Jerry Sloan calling sooner time outs instead of
waiting till the team is down by nine and getting
Williams some rest with a legitimate back up POINT GUARD. Utah nation I hope Maynor is our answer
because the more rest he gives William the better chance "WILL" will have to close out the 4TH.
