What small businesses???

Seriously, when I drive around small towns and cities, I see more retail space empty than I've seen in a life time. I think Obama's in deep dodo!!!!

Just the federal money Sen. Bennett got to construct a new court house in SLC will add 400 construction jobs.

You see empty retail space because of the paradox of thrift. What has happened t schools in Utah? Do they teach economics?

A recession is a drop in demand. Retail store need demand to sell and stay in business. When, demand drops, people and businesses save and they don't spend. These further drops demand. Workers get laid off and the doors of businesses close. This further cuts demand.

This drop in demand; this recession, started because of conservative deregulation.

If conservatives read: fat chance, I know. They would have read about Phil Gramm's Commodities Modernization Act and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. These deregulated derivatives, created the Enron loophole and let loan issuers sell their risk by issuing bonds.

It's amazing. Our economy collapses and conservatives listen to those who were lying, saying our economy was great. They listen to those who once assured them money would trickle drown. Republican ruled and a depress is the fruit of their governance.

I don't listen to lairs. I do read to learn the truth.
