It ain't over till the fat lady gets the red dress.

I can't imagine relying for either routine in air service or emergency help from a stew that is a size 28. That is grossly obese and should have to buy 2 seats if a passenger and stay home if a crewmember.

Even a size 18 is quite large and I'm fairly sure that would put the wearer into the overweight catagory if not obese. If you're wearing a size 28 you're morbidly obese and most certainly would have some mobility issues which would keep you from performing your job. As the previous poster wrote, if you're a size 28 you're also too big to comfortably fit in a coach size airline seat.

do they get paid for two stewadess? i have to buy two tickets.

I agree with the poster who said that size 28 is morbidly obese and may not be able to provide adequate assisatnce in case of emergency. Americans need to realize that fat is fat and not curvy. Size 18 is fat and fat is generally unhealthy.

amazed

Why would some one that large WANT to wear that dress (girl in photo looks to be a size 2/4...just imagine!).They already won the battle to be fat and bump there way down the aisles, now they want to be bright red, at least we will see them comming and know to really lean in.

confused

I thought that there was a size/weight limit for flight attendants? I don't know how someone that is extremely large, could possibly get through the aisles or be able to help passenger's if there happened to be an emergency? Also, dosen't it pose a problem if a passenger needs to get past the flight attendant? STICK WITH SIZE/WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS!

What bothers me is the term "sexy" when applied to the uniform. How many men out there are required to look "sexy" in their uniforms? Pilots? Give me a break and all women everywhere. It isn't 1950-60.

SLC gal

The reason why they shouldn't make them bigger is that larger women would look HORRIBLE in those dresses!!! (in fact they don't even look that good on smaller women).
