Young broad with big ideas that really didn't know anything. How many times do we see this same scenario of a young dumb lady being used because of her age by a sports hero with more money than brains? Sickening!
Sad for her and everyone involved.
I feel bad for the girlfriend but I feel worse for McNair's wife and kids.
Here's my take on this: what are the odds of a guy being murdered while he's sleeping if he was sleeping at home with his wife and kids instead of committing adultery with an emotionally unstable person?
About zilch.
You people who constantly throw your anger at conservative Christians in general, and the LDS church in particular, now see a little more clearly why God has rules governing the use of our sexuality.
Sexual morality and discipline isn't just "freedom to do" it is more about "freedom from", as in freedom from THESE kind of heartaches.
This poor kid never had a chance to live, because she made such lousy choices. Dropped out of school at age 17, left home and ran off with boyfriend, got stars (and maybe dollar signs) in her eyes over a married celebrity almost twice her age, fooled herself into thinking he'd ditch his wife and kids and sweep her off her feet and out of her ho-hum waitress job.
As for McNair, what was he thinking? He was old enough to know better. Despite her posturings of worldly sophistication and maturity, the girl was just a kid, too naive and too addled by the celebrity aura to know better. What was his excuse?
