I completely agree with the letter writer, and would like to point out that this is representative of the grand crossroads that the United States is at.

We, as a nation, are currently debating to choose the road of forced "charity" through universal health care, or taking the path that at least allows true charity such as Shriners to occur.

Please do all in your power to encourage the choice of true charity, and avoid at all costs the enslavement that always accompanies forced charity.

My sister was born with only one leg and the Shriners paid for prostetics and surgerys up to age 18 that she needed so she could live a more normal life. THANKS YOU SHRINERS!!!!!

The Shriner's are a great charity. People who are not Shriner's should consider giving to cause. It is money well spent.
