It is unlikely that Oracle will ever build the South Jordan data center. Oracle is acquiring Sun Microsystems and gets their dozen data centers already in operation. This includes Sun's new 127,000 sq. ft. facility in Santa Clara, CA, and other new data centers in Las Vegas, NV and Broomfield, CO.

The center, at 6136 W. 10120 South, would have employed at least 100. last time i checked that address is south jordan not west jordan west jordan only goes until about 9500 s.
