a great article. I will for sure, visit the place when I'm in the area.
I ate up there every week for about a year 20 years ago, and it was great then, great they are still putting out the good food as they always did. great article.
me of a similar place in St. Anthony, ID. By day it was the hang out for the high school scene, but Fri. and Sat. nights it became THE place to eat for locals, faculty at Ricks Colege (BYU ID) and college students trying to impress that special coed. I think it was called the Cougar Den. I'll have to try this place out.
Love the Pie Dump hot plate, love the bismarks, loved the dinner I tried a few months ago and love the Munns, what a great establishment!
Just want the Munns family to know that your community extends out to Cincinnati. Our family lived in Garland for several years where I attended the junior high. The Pie Dump was my favorite hang out. We know the Munns family and look forward to coming to the TL Steakhouse the next time we are out there.
hey, we know you and you have made it all the way to the Congo. We so wish we had one of your steaks here today..yesterday and even tomorrow! Great job keep up the good work. See you in a year. The Congo Connection
Love the steaks!
Also great place for a alot of french dip sandwiches for when the family comes to send-off a missionary.
Thanks Munns, see ya' Sat. night
Mac and Cherie are truly wonderful people who deserve this positive story. In addition to running a successful restaurant, they are also distributors building a fantastic XanGo business that has grown exponentially this year. They are the type of individuals that attract other good people to them. Congratulations Mac and Cherie, we are very proud of you!
I'm going as soon as I can.
Love The Pie Dump. Had lunch there every day during my High School years. The rolls and gravy or the french fries and gravy were the best. Now there is better reason to go back and try the grown up version.
2 hot rolls and a bowl of gravy with a cherry sprite was my breakfast of choice for 3 years of High School. I still have regular cravings for the Pie Dump, but rarely make it up there. The Munns are great people.
Great article. Cherie and Mac you look great. I loved the Pie Dump. It was a great place to skip seminary too! Only occasionally tho.
What a great article - Mac and Cherie you look great. The Pie Dump was a great place for lunch. Too bad is was next to the seminary building. Very tempting to sluff....once or twice.
A hot roll, maple bar and a cherry Mt. Dew sound really good right now. [salivating]
We travel from North Salt Lake to eat their yummy food! Their place is worth the drive. I love seeing Mac talk to all of the guests. Cheri is a joy when she greets you at the door. Everyone is family at -TL!!!
I'm hungry now! I haven't been there for years!
Oh what I would give for one of your bismarks right now. I have fond memories of the Pie Dump.
I can almost taste the hot roll with gravy on those special days in Mr. Wells' class. AHHHHHH. Go Pie Dump!
I'm on my way--my children need to taste your food, too. Thanks for keeping the business going!
Thank you for the great article. My wife and I have gone up several times since reading this. Tremendous food, friendly, thoughtful service, and a great atmosphere make this a great place to eat.
