Scholarship

It always surprises me that so many people believe the Bible was written as a one whole book straight from the mouth of God, when Biblical scholars have proven that the books of the Bible have undergone man-made changes over the centuries.

As this article says, “No other early manuscript of the Christian Bible has been so extensively corrected. . . . They range from the alteration of a single letter to the insertion of whole sentences.”

We do not have the original books of the Bible, but only copies of copies of copies. Note the date of this codex as being from the mid-300’s, and considered among the oldest we have.

RE: Scholarship

There are over 45 reliable manuscripts, this confirms papryus 66,75, 2nd century fragments of the Gospel of John. There also enough quotes (26,00)from church fathers to reconstruct 99.9% the Bible.

If say the original triangle was in a museum and it was burnedin a fire,we have enough copies to figure out what the orign=inal looked like.
