Thank you for sharing this wonderfully practicule method for helping children understand budget and resources. I believe it helps them to also develop unselfish practices in deciding their expenditures.

I remember growing up and my mother only giving us a $20.00 budget. We could choose a party or a gift. This was from the time I was 8-18. I never could figure out how to have a party for that much.
