Why didn't you just go to the parade? Or are you just a couch patriot, a sunshine soldier?

Anonymous

Did you check what was available on peasantvision, or better yet just go to the parade?

Ernest T. Bass

Patriotism through the TV. Yeah for America!

To "Agki | 6:43 a.m." and "Anonymous | 7:08 a.m." since you are the resident liberals who "love and accept" everybody. Why don't you find out this person's situation first before trashing them. Did you event think that maybe it is an elderly person who has a medical condition that does not allow them to go to the parade. Or perhaps, it is somebody who works late at night. Maybe this person has a sick child and couldn't go.

Where is your compassion that you always say that liberals have?

Honest Luke

Agki- Why do you have so much hate in your heart?

I agree, you should have gone to the parade if you wanted to feel the spirit of the day.

Athena

Lady, if you're disappointed that you couldn't find the parade on TV, then why didn't you just go to the parade yourself?

To those of you saying "just go to the parade". While I agree that going to the parade is a great option if the 115,000 some odd people in Provo were to all go to the parade where would they all stand? It would be nice if those who are not able to go or those who would like to see it but not fight the crowds could see the parade as well. Lastly I think the writer started by saying that they could not find a parade on any channel and was hoping to at least find the local parade on a local channel. Maybe you should read closer before responding.

Because all of the TV stations are in business to make money. People in this state don't watch, so no money comes in. Simple.

I've always wondered why KBYU just doesn't televise the parade, they've got A LOT of journalism students that need the experience anyway and they're right in Provo.

Bender Rodriguez

Parades, in person, are boring enough. But, to want to watch one on TV?

Watching one on TV is even more mind-numbingly, coma inducing than the Golf channel.

Good idea

I think it might be a good plan for KBYU in Provo to televise this parade.

phillip j fry

wow thats dumb i couldnt even go to the store in provo because everyone was parked there to go to the parade. hey people here will take any free entertainment they can for their 100 kids.

another idea

I do not live in Provo - I live in Idaho. I did not go to the Parade here because I have arthritice (sp) in both of my knees. I agree that it would be nice to have the local parade on TV to watch... I think that it is VERY wrong to say that just because a person does not go to a parade they are therefore not patriotic. The writer did say that they had flown a flag in there yard... how many people now do that? Did all of you "pleasant" people fly a flag in your yard??? Lets try to be a little nicer on these comments and not try to judge someone whom you do not know. The idea is a really good one and I think that KBYU should really look at doing this.

Hatuletoh

Provo has a parade?

Rodger
