Sony's demise should astound no one. Sony's invention of the Walkman helped usher in a modern attitude of materialism and individualism. It should come as no surprise that Sony's promotion of this attitude has created a disloyal customer base that left Sony for the first fad that came along.
John, how many Sony products do you own? Does that make you "materialistic"? Sony is so far from demise that I had to laugh. Sony has a reputation for good, durable, useful products. Their demise would be very sad.
