Stay away "Mel" You are not wanted.
The State Department really bungled this. They could have prevented the entire incident. Instead, "lost in space" would be a very charitable description of their behavior.
In the meantime, the mass media seems to be burying it's head in the sand. Zalaya had less than 30% support, so it is clear that a large number of the working and middle class oppose him. Also, they totally ignore all the aspects of the constitution that Zalaya violated. Indeed, the real coup was Zalaya trying to overthrow the rule of law.
Once again the US meddling in foreign politics was in the throes of establishing a new dictatorship in south america. We put Saddam, Castro, Zalaya, and many other dictators in power by our meddling. The US better forget about world domination and a one world government, Star Trek next Generation is only a fabrication and not reality.
Our american government can be friends with other nations but we cannot and should not get involved in their politics. What our government should concern itself with is our own sovereignty as a nation and to serve the american people, not what is in our best interest for corporate ameirca.
