God does not motivate. It is anover zealous cutlure which sends these poorly equipt boys out in the worls in a hap and stance fashion.

Love of god motivates missionary service... and in the absence of such love, peer pressure, family expectations, and a heavy dose of stigmatizing those who don't serve missions goes a long way to motivate missionary service!
