Isn't interesting how Biden can ironically show up on the 4th of July to celebrate with his son. Wonder how many fathers wish they could celebrate the 4th of July with their sons/daughters on tax payers money?????

July 4th, more than any other day of the year, gives each of us the opportunity to reflect on just how fortunate we are to live in the United States of America. We are blessed with freedoms that oppressed people around the world can only dream of, and we are fortunate to have the privilege to call ourselves Americans, a proud title that brings hundreds of thousands to our shores each year seeking the freedoms we enjoy. From our founding fathers, who put their lives on the line crafting the best form of government in the history of the world, to those first Patriots fighting in fields and farms, to our modern day soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen fighting against oppression and terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan and defending our coasts here at home, we have a proud heritage and a bright future. This weekend, as we celebrate with family and friends, we especially remember those members of our military who are away from their families, serving our country at home and abroad. We thank them for their sacrifice and pray for the success of their mission and their safe return.

Dick had Mary his daughter who served on his election committee. Biden's son who is is serving in uniform. Serving our nation or having children serve gives you a different view of our military. It's a shame Utah lags in enlistments.

This liberal joined the US Army during Vietnam. I have a found memory of standing in formation in Basic Training at Fort Ord.

The senor drill instructor tells us. "All you had better listen up! Your recruiter promised you all sorts of things. I can assure you, he didn't promise you one thing. He never promised you would return alive and not bagged, tagged and shipped home in a flag draped box."

Mr. Idiot 10:34 did something I didn't think was possible. He made Brother Chuck seem wise and compassionate by comparison.

Re: 12:54 pm - To my fellow Americans who still cherish the dream of our founding fathers, I wish you a wonderful and Happy Independence Day. To those of you who are willing to compromise your liberty and freedom in the hopes that Fedzilla will provide you an artificial blanket of security, enjoy your Dependence Day. Higher taxes and more government ultimately lead to economic genocide. Alternatively, lower taxes, less government, and more independence lead to prosperity for all who are willing to take advantage of it. Our forefathers who threw the tea over the side of the ship in Boston Harbor knew this. Fedzilla pushed through an unauthorized trillion-dollar economic stimulus bill that not one elected representative read before voting on it. Regardless what legal nuance or loophole some Fedzillacrat lawyer could point to in our constitution or court decision that allows for such grotesque meddling and spending, I adamantly believe this level of federal meddling and control was not the dream.

We don't believe in Klingon's.
