Weapons of mass destruction | 9:26 a.m. July 2, 2009
We invaded Iran looking for weapons of mass destruction when the other two evil empires Iran and Korea already had them..We invaded the wrong country.
I'm scared stupid! | 2:59 p.m. July 2, 2009
It is the media who is the threat. They create fear to make an extra buck. If this was not true it would be because they are all psychotic!

The solution | 3:00 p.m. July 2, 2009
I hate to see it because I like peace and life, but the only solution is to bomb North Korea back to the Stone Age.

Kim Jong Il is a complete nutter and he won't be satisfied until full-scale nuclear war has broken out. It's kill or be killed - I say we do this in his backyard, not ours.

We have nothing to fear.... Nancy Pelosi has her spitballs ready to fire in retaliation....
re: Weapons of mass... 9:26 | 3:23 p.m. July 2, 2009
Stop it. We invaded the right country and everyone knows it. We just didn't invade enough countries. I'm not agreeing with Bush or Obama but I'm really tired of these other countries pushing us around. I think that we should threaten an atomic bomb on N. Korea and let them become concerned. We rebuild other countries while protecting ourselves and the basic human rights of others. No other country gives back more than the U.S. We exercise extreme patience with other third world countries that want to kill us because they are told that God will bless them if they do. Then when we scratch back by a simple military tactic, we get condemned by everyone. If it weren't for the U.S. then the Eifle Tower would belong to Germany.

We invaded Iran?
utah ut | 3:39 p.m. July 2, 2009

Post Traumatic Syndrome | 3:47 p.m. July 2, 2009
The media invented it and the media continues it's legacy to scare us all so bad we will never leave our houses. Solution: Enjoy life and don't buy any one newspapers or watch any media programs on TV. It made me a lot happier. I feel free!
Arizona | 3:55 p.m. July 2, 2009
We really don't have the option of invading, bombing, or "vaporizing" North Korea. Long before anything we shoot can reach its' target, Seoul will be gone. along with most of its 25 million inhabitants.

There is no easy answer here.
HAWAII? | 3:57 p.m. July 2, 2009
The deseret News is out making things worst than they are again.
Everyone should go and do a little research on this subject. The US knew that they were going to test missiles today, North Korea issued a statement telling the world.

I wonder if Mexico should freak out every time that I see the fighter jets from Hill Field going out to the desert to fire missiles?

I love to see the world over-react to everything.
This is so Utah | 4:07 p.m. July 2, 2009
NOT AGAIN!!!! THE "MEDIA TERROR", Remember back in 2001 the orange, red, green and who knows how many colors we have on TV for "possible" attacks against US?

Now the enemy is North Korea, PLEASE STOP LYING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, "TERROR" "TERRORIST" "MUSLIM" "ARAB" AND SOME MANY WORDS USED TO JUSTIFIED WAR AND OIL BUSINESS.

PLease stop THE TERROR MEDIA!!!!!
OK/Iraq 4:03 | 4:09 p.m. July 2, 2009
Let's invade N. Korea. Then Obama can surrender to them just as easily as any other country.
Your so much smarter than Bush. I love you.
Who wouda guessed | 4:14 p.m. July 2, 2009
Of the three countries Bush called the "axis of evil" we invaded the only one without a weapons of mass destruction program.
N.korea & U.S.A | 4:16 p.m. July 2, 2009

...N.Korea is still trying to make a nuclear bomb or possibly has only one... USA has over 5000 nukes.

so sleep tight.
@Weapons of mass... | 4:18 p.m. July 2, 2009
Are you volunteering to go fight? Because if we are invading these countries we will lose American lives. Will you put yours on the line? Or are you a 50 year old man/woman who will not be going to war anytime soon and thinks it's ok to send a bunch of 20 something year olds to their deaths?
RE:OK/IRAQ | 4:30 p.m. July 2, 2009
Its called sarcasm, we no more should invade Korea as we did Iraq. And as for being smarter than Bush, how hard is that.
re:@Weapons of mass...  | 4:53 p.m. July 2, 2009
Is being a United States Marine being enough of a man to put my life on the line for scared people like you? Can I say, "been there, done that"? can you say it? Will you? It's better to die fighting for freedom then to run scared.
gg | 5:16 p.m. July 2, 2009
N. Korea doesn't have oil.

@3:23 Tired of getting pushed around? Go join up.
Yes! | 5:24 p.m. July 2, 2009
We're getting just what we've sown. We made the red chinese rich and they're behind this mess!
AB | 6:21 p.m. July 2, 2009
I just hope we are not stupid enough to ignore these threats. I hope our country does something about this problem before its to late. There is a difference between being scared and being prepared and protected. Lets not wait for North Korea to make the first move on hurting Americans. We need to prepare and protect our country now!
