Comments about ‘467K jobs cut in June; jobless rate at 9.5 percent’

So at some point, if we're going to get out of this depression, we will need to actually make more jobs than we lose.

Where's those JOBS at as said President Obama, when he and Congress ordered the Fed's to print out Trillions of dollars, as a larger-than-expected 467,000 jobs in June, driving the unemployment rate up to a 26-year high of 9.5 percent, yet the economy's road to recovery is still very bumpy. More then 14.7 million people were unemployed in June yet. Still laid-off workers have almost given up looking for new jobs because there is none, this also bites into sales and profits and cause's prices to raise. The few industries adding jobs are in the Medical Field and Government only.

That Stimulus Package is really starting to work!

There really are so many good things to look forward to: 10% unemployment isn't so bad. $10 Trillion deficits. At least I'll have my government healthcare.

Oh, almost forgot the "Cap and Trade" - if we don't have global warming - oops - climate change under control, I don't want to live on this planet.

My buddy back in Elkhart, Indiana says their unemployment is at 18% - now we're talkin unemployment!

Yes it's true, Obama wants to change YOUR behavior, by making YOU homeless and broke and unemployed.

In an interview on Iowa Public TV in 2007, Barack Obama advocated sending price signals to middle class consumers in order to change their behavior.

Price signals being an Orwellian code word for punitive taxes and fees. And Obama doesn't seem to care much who it would hurt.

A couple of points. One, I thought that all the bailouts and stimulus money was supposed to create jobs - where are they? Two, it's refreshing to finally see the truth in the real unemployment figure of 16.5%.

And, for the record, A jobless recovery or jobless growth is a phrase used by economists to describe the recovery from a recession which does not produce strong growth in employment. The phrase originated in the early 1990s in the United States, to describe the economic recovery at the end of President George H.W. Bush’s term; it came back into use during the early 2000s. Under Obama, the government has given well over 90% of the taxpayers’ money to the richest companies and well under 10% for job-creation programs. Therefore, the "jobless recovery" is really a massive redistribution of wealth from the little guy to the big boys.

When the "Cap and Trade" legislation passes, there will be millions of "green" jobs and this whole mess will be fixed - or states our President. Everyone had just better hope that your particular company doesn't use any electricity or emit any carbon dioxide. If your company does, they will likely move to India, so as to not pay Uncle Obama more taxes, and you will loose your job too.

I'm waiting for those who voted for Obama to stand up and admit that he's not what they thought he would be. I'm waiting for liberals to admit that "growing an economy from the bottom up" doesn't work.

Perhaps that would ease some of my frustration. It would be nice to know that Americans are learning from this wretched experience and that they aren't going to be hypnotized again by some eloquent socialist.

How is that hope and change working out??? Hoping for a job, changing homeless shelters daily. Obama is an idiot!!!!!

His policies have all been tried before by the Soviet Union. They failed. Why can't we learn from history?

Ahhhh, the racists, marxist in charge is doing exaclty what he set out to do. Destroy Capitalism and the free market. What, did anyone really expect any different from this protoge of Ayers and Wright?
We are all in for a great deal of hurt. Hopefully the good Christians, ( I know we'er not a nation of Christians) will be of help in this time of great turmoil.
