Obama wanted to "Stimulate" the economy? Fact with all the money he dumped into G.M. and Crysler he could have given EVERY AMERICAN HOUSEHOLD a Voucher for a BRAND NEW AMERICAN CAR and have them trade in their Oldest Clunker to get it off the road, saved the government MILLIONS! BOOSTED AUTO SALES SHARPLY! Saved the AUTO INDUSTRY for the time being and long term if they solved their UNION PROBLEM, Stimulated the economy, cut Green House Gases! Cut Fuel Emmissions, Saved Us OIL by having more fuel efficiant cars on the road, made millions of Americans HAPPY CAMPERS, Boosted His Approval Rating for the time being, and maybe, just maybe, even Al Gore would have smiled at the idea! Instead he did what a politian would do and threw billions out the window because it seemed like the right thing to do at the time. Bush's cash back giveaway wasn't the greatest either, but atleast he gave it to the PEOPLE who would have to pay it back! Then again I am just CougarKeith, I make to much sense to be a politician I guess?
