Great Comments Brother Johnston | 9:31 p.m. July 1, 2009
I'm sure the Manti pageant was Spectactular.

Northern California is NOW in it's Second year of Missing the Oakland Temple Pageant, which ran every
year in the Summer.

The Oakland Temple Pageant had a LIVE Orchestra and a Live Balcony Chourus of young people over 400 voices strong in addition to the dancing on the stage and singing and other theatrical effects...

It was titled, "And It Came To Pass"....

At a gathering in San Francisco last year honoring
the LDS History of Northern California and San Francisco, in specific, Elder Quentin Cook, of the Quorum of the 12, and former San Francisco Stake President, said that the Oakland Temple Pageant
Would Come Back!! This is a strange mystery why
it just suddenly dis-appeared after 40+ years.

It is Sorely Missed....

It did attract crowds to its viewing too, just like the other Church Pageants....
