Did he opt in to be traded? I sure hope so. I don't know 1 fan that would
rather have just Boozer back vs Memo and Millsap. We better have Memo back no
matter what.

i guess if there's positive to this.......its that he'll be playing
for a contract this year so he just might think about giving us 100%.

It's official, Boozer only cares about himself. He wasn't about to
loose any money to help the team move toward a championship. If he really
wanted to be here, he would've resigned ofr a smaller contract so we could
keep Paul. Watch Memo opt out and go elsewhere because he won't wanna play
for what the Jazz'll wanna pay him, so instead of getting an extension with
Okur we'll get one season of Boozer playing like a jerk up up his stock
around the league while the Jazz stay mediocre without Memo, and who knows how
they'll be able to keep Millsap. Seriously Boozer, take a hint: WE
DON'T WANT YOU!!!

This is just great! Welcome to another year of Boozer only playing 66% of the
games along with his pathetic defense! I'm glad Korver decided to stay as
a shooter of his caliber is rarely found. All we need is Memo to opt in or sign
an extension and Millsap to start at the 4.

the only reason boozer isn't leaving is that no one was going to sign him,
he will leave next summer watch he will be a judas goat and leave us in the
lurch if he can walk out, he probly will miss most of the season with a ouchie.

I definitely have mixed feelings on Boozer opting in, but if he is going to stay
then I hope he has a good year. I feel this team needs some new blood, but it
is his choice so we will live with it. I do think this team is pretty good when
it is healthy; regardless how they finished last season. But if they are going
to stay together they better figure a way to get past all their differences and
build some real chemistry! The Lakers had talent and chemistry this year and
look where it got them.....

Sloan should take the players nakes off the back of the Jazz players jerseys
this year, maybe it'll teach players like Boozer to think about the team
more than themselves.

Well there goes the season...but at least we have the possibility of trading his
expiring contract. Maybe we can use that to work on 2010-11 roster. Lottery pick
from knicks, plus a lot of expiring contracts...maybe the future can be alright,
but upcoming season is dead.

This was obviously a business decision for Boozer. Maybe he'll learn now to
keep his mouth shut in the future. He'll have to play well next season for
the Jazz if he wants a pay raise the following season!

Dang. That puts a damper on the season. He will take up money, sit on the
bench, and complain about being hurt. We need someone that wants to play, not

If Memo doesn't opt out that makes $72m in payroll for the Jazz. That
creates no room for Millsap. We lose him to free agency because it turns out
that other teams don't want a lazy, screaming, injury-prone Boozer.

Well he is not as stupid as I hoped. He realized that he couldn't make
more anywhere else.
I was about ready to throw a "going away" party. I really am bummed about this. I believe all Jazz fans should unite and demand a trade for him!
Part of this is just venting, but I don't think we should but up with someone who does serious damage in the locker room, and hardly ever pays 100%

Another 8 seed first round exit, if that now that we will lose Millsap. Boozer
is really sticking it to the Jazz fans. He doesn't want to stay, he has to
stay because nobody else would be crazy enough to pay him that much.
Here's hoping a contract year will motivate him to play some d next year

Boozer is now trade bait ! Hopefully traded before the start of the season,
there are plenty of options, we could even try & get a good 2 / 3 for him,
trade bait is also Korver & Harpring. But I would like Korver to stay.

This is not good news!Sign and trade please. I guess he thought his spot on the
DL was getting cold. More money to sit on the DL in Utah than play for much less
anywhere else. It shows just how bad the market is for Bloozer. Maybe we can get
lucky, and Okur will opt out. Then we only have one defenseless slug eating our
budget away. Not only is Bloozer killing the Jazz season, he is sending Millsap
packing.

Good. But, it just means we'll have to go through all this next year.
Hopefully, Boozer will let the Jazz know if he wants to be moved so we can get
some value of him before he becomes a free agent next year.

Unfortunately, I knew this was going to happen mainly because of a lack of
potential suitors and a worsening economy.
Now, there is a real possibility that either Okur or Millsap will end up elsewhere.
Although on the positive side, Boozer will surely give a good effort next year since contractually it will be his final year, and this situation does give the Jazz an expiring contract from which to bargain a better situation for the team.

Bosh for Boozer makes the most sense. A three team swing might be required, Booz
to Detroit Prince to Toronto. It would be nice if he just played defense though.
Bringing back Okur and Millsap doen't seem probable. If you have any
