The tab choir singing Call of the Champions! Is there anything better?! Wow!

It makes me very proud to read about the choir and the opportunity they have to be ambassadors throughout the United States and abroad. I know they touch the hearts and lives of all who listen to their magnificent music. Thank you to all who are so dedicated!

"Call of the Champions" was also performed here in Cincinnati, conducted by Mr. Kunzel.

So why does Kansas City get barely a mention?

I think every tour destination was mentioned except Des Moines, Iowa. Let's not forget that appearance. Of course, the choir was spectacular there as well. I would loved to have heard "Call of the Champions" in Des Moines. Proud of the choir and how they represent the Church throughout the world. Thanks!

Re: KC and Des Moines, for sake of completeness those performances should have been mentioned. However, a major focus of this article seems to be special guest conductors and others making appearances with the choir. Were there any recognized special guests like mentioned in this article at the KC and Des Moines performances?

Tears come to my eyes even now, as I recall the glorious experience it was for my husband and I to join with thousands in Norman, Oklahoma to hear "America's Choir"!! Thank you, Mormon Tabernacle Choir! And also, thanks to the fantastic orchestra from Temple Square! The experience of hearing you all perform together was a "gift" that we shall long remember. You lifted our hearts and touched our spirits!

Yes, there was a special guest conductor in Kansas City -- Julia Irene Kauffman -- a prominent philanthropist. No pictures of Kansas City concert or mention of her. Too bad, because the Kansas City performance was superb, in a very interesting venue.

Give it some time. They have always tried to include numbers from different cultures, but it takes time for more members with diverse backgrounds to find their way into the choir.

I can't believe that was your comment. One of the most incredible perfoming groups of the century and that's the best thing you can say. Wow, maybe you need to listen more.

I guess when more members from Peru,China, Mexico,Japan etc move to the SLC area,and can sing and pass the tests, then there will be more cultural diversity. As for missing some places of performance. Mistakes happen. Who is perfect?

The Church will most likely produce a small program to show in between conference sessions on October 3rd, featuring each of the stops of this recent MoTab tour. I love those little programs in between conference.

What a wonderful experience it was to have the choir in Omaha! This beautiful place has SO much history and historical settings, which the choir visited. The Winter Quarters Temple, Cemetery and Morman Trails Visitors Center are extremely important to this area, and the cemetery is very meaningful to those who have relatives who spent the cold, cold winter in Winter Quarters and many are buried here. We also have the Kanesville Tabernacle, where Brigham Young was ordained as the President of the Church. So many other places in this area shine with the paths of the Saints who settled all around this area and all passed through here on the way to Salt Lake. We were very pleased and honored to have the Choir sing in our beautiful Holland Concert Center, with the best acoustics anywhere around here. They were astonished that no one needed a microphone, nor does any concert given here. We thank the Church for bringing the Choir to this very important area in the history of the Church.

Many people would like to sing in the choir, but most don't really know what it requires. Talent is only part of it. Training, discipline, being temple worthy, willingness to give up your time - hours and hours every week as well as your vacationtime for summer tours. What a great opportunity and a great responsibility. What a great representation of the Church.

My wife, youngest daughter, and I went to the concert last night at Red Rocks. It was a wonderful program and we all three loved it. The choir's powerful delivery combined with their genuine love of others and the Lord as expressed in their music was inspiring. Thanks to everyone involved with and serving in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Love to see them in Manhattan. Buy their CD's so they can come visit.

I am so grateful for sharing the wonderful tour in facebook. Last year I had the privilege as a guestsinger to sing in the rehearsal before General Conference. The Choir is absolut fantastic - marvellous and awesome - it's really Americas Choir!

I hope that's possible to see the Choir one day in Germany and other countries of Europe - it's a testemony for a lot of people and a great repensentation of the Church.
