Truly we've become a nation of exploiters and ambulance chasers (myself included!). We don't feel like we've got anything to talk about unless we're "judging" someone's talents, or reviewing their failings.
Where are the Cosby shows, the family shows? Where are the light, uplifting, thoughtful shows?
Have we accepted a new "reality?" How sad!
coming when Jon brought in the Tuetel boys from American Chopper to build him a custom motorcycle right in front of Kate and the kids! But the real sign of the end was when we saw Kate clinging on to Paul Sr. like a hooker who hadn't been paid yet as he gave her a ride on new motorcycle.
Sounds like I'm a regular "watcher" doesn't it? Never have watched one episode of Jon & Kate, just happen to like American Chopper and caught the show about Jon's bike. Gee, does that make me a reality show junkie?? Guess I could go for Doug's show after all!
I'm with you, Doug. Who are these people and why are we wasting our time watching their lives when we should be living our own--to the fullest?
@ sll, I'm just curious if wasting your time includes posting about a show that you know and care nothing about?
Love it, Doug. By the way, we are a nation of voyeurs. Too many people minding other people's business.
They were paid $75,000 per episode - to exploit their kids and ruin their marriage - oh, and pay for a huge house, and who knows what else. WOW!
This is different than putting your child star in a regular tv or movie acting role. This is a camera following YOU around and showing the world your private life.
I don't watch, never have never will and think Jon and Kate got what they deserve. Too bad for the kids who have no choice in the matter.
