You are about the only member of the press who actually asks the Jazz to get out of their "it ain't broke, we don't need to fix it" cacoon.

Boozer is replaceable. His numbers are inflated by the Jazz emphasis on the PF,lack of a shooting SG, and SF by committee.

Millsap is worth no more than the mid level exemption.

Korver is replaceable for less.

Okur has already been replaced by Koufos and Suton.

I like the players but the team will not get better without change.

The Jazz love continuity. The have to seize this opportunity to remake this team. Giving long term contracts to players who are designed to fit the Sloan system is really dumb. Is Sloan going to be here in 2 years?

Remake the team now and rebuild for a future coach. Get a scheduled retirement from Sloan. He is putting the team in limbo by deciding each year if he is staying.

The team has to have a major change in players when he leaves.

Now is the time to fix the Jazz. If it takes to years that is fine.

Save the Jazz from themselves and bad decisions.

I like the idea of Boozer opting to stay with the Jazz for one more year. They could use his expiring contract as trade bait, which could help in making a much needed change.

Yes he gives 110% but is that ability he has worth a long term 10mil or more contract? Absolutely NO. He has phsyical limitations for his position, he is NOT a franchise type player, he is a real good team member type player who gives everything he has but it's limited. Over paying for anything in life is a huge mistake. Paul can be replaced very easy for the big bucks if he and his agent thinks that what he is going to get. This is the problem with agents and these ridiculous markets-real good trying players with limitations usually get over paid, and the teams suffer along with the fans! Don't over pay this man Jazz! I'll give you 10 for less money.

Telling you what direction you want to go, encourage others to openly look for bids that is called planning your future instead of "winging it" as dumb as asking ak to become your "power forward"

Then again I am convinced, AK would be back to the old AK maybe the most valuable guy with DWIL

That allows the Gm to make moves to improve the team. that takes the pressure off our free agents and puts it squarely on the Gm

Now we have to ask KOC what have you been doing and where are the impact players you are making deals for?

We have to ask the captain which direction is this ship going or are the inmates running the asylum?

the Jazz front office must do everything that they can do to get rid of Boozer, if he opts out and sign with any team then that will be easier for all of us, the Jazz season will just be jeoperdize if Boozer stays for one more year, we all already knows Boozer's intentions, so why stick with him? no logical reason to stick with him, I mean it will just make the team chemistry and unity broke into pieces..

This is a good time to re-build if fans can take a losing season. Next year is supposed to be a great draft and they already have the Knicks pick which is sure to be one of the earliest picks, they have their own which is lottery protected and that would be a pretty low pick if Boozer, Okur and milsap all opt out, then next year they would have the option of letting Korver and Harpring and would be setting pretty salary cap wise to go after Bosh. Another plus would be Sloan would have to give major playing time to Fez, Koufus, Minor and maybe even keep Almond (they will need an outside shooter) then we will know if they can play or need to go, at least they will have their shot. I think Todd's right in that AK47 probably become his old self again.

It took months of work, but I am glad to see many of you are starting to see my side of things. People know I am fair. If SLoan did something good I would acknowledge, same as any player. I truly believe AK and SLoan have a "strained tense relationship". AK without Boozer here will be better. I do not care to give up on mr 47, however, he needs his confidence back, health and joy to be around and smile again. I am almost beginning to want BOOZER out of here just for the fact I am sick of the drama, and the way I feel he is "enjoying holding this franchise hostage". I watch this guy the way he speaks, his body language. I am very perceptive. What I see in Boozer is a "phony" the smile, "the arrogance" "the and one". He reminds me of a guy in one of my Adult Leagues that yaps, yaps think he is the best thing out there but hardly is.

Gooden for 6 mill. Gooden's numbers will be just as good as Millsap's in the Jazz system.

SLT says Okur is going to opt. That drops 9 Mill. The Jazz need Korver to opt to get low enough to go into the FA market and replace Okur. However, Harp's non guaranteed contract may take them down low enough to get into the FA market. Does anyone know how much of that contract is non guaranteed?

The Jazz have to get to about 58 mill to bid on FAs. Can they drop or buy out Harp and then resign him later after they replace Okur with Gortat or whatever?

Sloan will try to replace Okur with Collins if the Jazz can't get into the FA market and get a good one.

After hearing what the Jazz "free agents" want, I say let them all go. 10 million a year for Millsap?! Cya later. 14-15 million a year for Boozer?! Cya. Memo making threats that he's going to Turkey? Cya. Let Korver go too. It would be rough next year (we are talking less than 30 wins), but 2010 would be fun with two lottery picks and we can be in the free agent mix (Chris Bosh). The only thing that would kill us for 2010 is Harpring's and Kirilenko's contract, but they both would be in the last year so could possibly trade. Please just suffer one bad year rather than spend all this money on these guys. PLEASE!!!!!!

Harp's contract is expiring this coming year and is unguaranteed. He can/will be traded by mid season.

Charlie Villanueva 16/7 and can hit the 3 is now an unrestricted FA. He has 3 years of experience. He might be a decent Boozer replacement. He is a great Millsap replacement.

I do not know about his defense but he can score. At 6'11" his is big enough. He made 3-4 Mill.

Face it the utah jazz need boozer to really go anywhere this season, i'm not saying i like his attitude and the things he says at all times but he is a really good basketball player and everybody knows that... ahh..
