Wow, what a dominate performance. TFC was chasing the ball all night and with very little to show for it. The first goal was a bit lucky and fortunately Yura was opportunistic. The second and third goals were great team efforts with beautiful passes leading to stellar goals.

The team that took the field tonight could accomplish a lot in this league. Problem lies in that we don't always know what team we are going to get.

Hopefully Javi didn't get too banged up from that cheap tackle towards the end, we will really need him with Beckerman, Will, and AW leaving for Gold Cup duties.

Great match tonight boys. And great crowd, 18,000+. Wins like tonight should keep people coming back.

Kyle Beckerman's goal was number 9 on Sportscenter top plays.

I believe Andy declined to play for Jamaica. With the way Grabavoy played tonight, we won't miss Johnson too much.

a great night for 2 of my favorites Fedor and Chadders enjoying a night amidst the great promotion of $7 tickets. (the Arrogant La Galaxy should take notes how to market, i like theyr'e players though),

However, listened on KAAL what a night. Basically, it was I guess a 4-4-2 from the announcers. The first 15 minutes, the team came out maybe took Toronto light, Kreis was furious and the giveaways lucily Nick made that early big save. Then Toronto give away and Yuri finding form took over. The Next 2 goals wer fantastic. I have knocked Mathis but he was all over the place covering, and played like all-star tonight. He could have scored more than 1. Beckerman and Morales outstanding. Kyle goal superb. I hope that kid who hurt his ankle is Ok

Now continue to win vs San Jose. Grababoy is good by the way I miss him with the Galaxy. I just wish the fans would yell and scream at the start when team needs a lift instead of waiting for something good to happen. fedor help work on that!!!

The only sad thing this night is Beckerman's fantastic goal only at number 9 on the Sportcenter. Come on ESPN, how can you not see that is top play, what a beautiful goal!!! And what a beautiful night at Rio Tinto stadium. This was all the magnificent's we have been waiting for. I'm still washing confetti out of my hair and the smell of smoke bomb from my skin. Do you see that we are on the roll now? A few games ago there were some who had faith shaken from them, but not this man. I felt this coming and you could say we are hottest team in MLS right now. We attack the net, defense strong and hearts full of valley pride!!! Carnival ReAL was as amazing as I have seen this night. Only David Archilenko performance could have made it better. You know Fedor will be there next week with adidas samba shoes, freshly laundered RSL scarf, confetti, flag of Paraguay, signed Javi jersey, blowhorn, shinguards and '08 Royal Club T-Shirt. Goooooooooooo RSL, GOOOOOOOOOOO all the way!!!!! You know it is OUR YEAR!!! VIVA LA REAL, VIVA LA EBO!!!!

Keeps RSL pretty close to the playoff pack, especially with a beatable SJ team at home next. If they can win that one, they're right in the thick of things.

Great match last night! Lets hope the national team can play as well today against Brazil.
Chadders | 12:31 p.m. June 28, 2009
Great game gents! I'm glad i was able 2 go. Mathis` goal celebration was funny, he caught a streamer as he ran 2 the corner and then moonwalked. Good crowd but we should do better Friday.

I'm glad rsl came out and took it to toronto like they did.. I cant say that i am happy right now though considering the united states just blew the biggest game in the countries history

It was a great game to watch. Proud to be a Real Salt Lake fan.

Stadium looked great too.
Pass back? | 10:41 a.m. June 29, 2009
Did anyone see a replay of the possible pass back in the first half? I was sitting in Section 3 on the east side of the stadium so I didn't have a great angle, but it looked like Toronto's central defender kicked the ball back to the goalie which should have resulted in an indirect free kick from the spot where the goalie touched the ball. I remember we got burned on this a few years ago against Colorado. I'm not complaining about the officiating in a game where we won 3-0. Just wondering if the call was missed again (at Colorado earlier this year it was missed as well).

As for US blowing the biggest game in the country's history, I disagree. Brazil came out in the second half on fire, maybe if we don't give up the goal in the 46th minute we are able to hang on for the win, but Brazil was too much, just outplayed us. I'm still very proud of how we did in that tournament. Should carry over into 2010.
RE: Pass Back? | 11:30 a.m. June 29, 2009
If I remember correctly, you are right. That was a pass back, and should have been awarded an indirect free kick.

At any rate, I'm glad this no-call doesn't matter. I'd rather take the game into our own hands and not let the ref's lack of vision dictate the scoreline.

Great job RSL!

are not calling pass backs at all this year. We have been directly affected by it three times. Colorado game, Toronto game, and in the Dallas game it was in our favor as Rimando picked up a back pass. Dallas was furious, but the ref called play on.
STEVE-O | 3:53 p.m. June 30, 2009
There was a pass back in the Houston game from a free kick... but Rimando just acted like he was going to take the kick. That should have been a free kick as well. Consistency is the most important thing with calls like that... and most MLS refs don't know what consistency means!
